There's no doubt that bringing a new life into this world is a beautiful occasion. A big moment in your family's history for sure, & I want to help you celebrate your family’s every milestone. I want to provide you with a no hassle, comfortable approach to commemorating the arrival of your family’s new addition. You deserve nothing less!
I’ll come to you to provide an in home portrait experience; choose either a studio portrait set or natural light lifestyle portraits. After your session you’ll be provided with an easy to access online gallery to view and select your images. I’ll come to you for the selections meeting and even hand deliver your finished order when it’s ready. So you can concentrate on your new little one stress free!
A little about newborn portraits......
Newborn sessions are usually done within the first 10-14 days of life as they tend to sleep more and are more pose-able within this time. It’s best to arrange for a newborn session prior to baby’s arrival; these early days can get away from you quickly and you don't want to miss out on them! We’ll set up a tentative appointment one week after your due date. I’ll get in touch with you two weeks prior to touch base, in case baby comes early or to adjust for a later than expected arrival. You may choose to have baby photographed alone; however, I highly recommend having both you & your spouse, as well as baby’s siblings(if any) to be available. We want to celebrate and commemorate the joy and love of your whole family at this special time!
You should know, I’m not a prop heavy type of artist. While I do provide cloth/crocheted wraps for some poses, I do not travel with many “props”. I prefer to use your baby’s personal toys/stuffed animals instead, and even then only minimally. Prop heavy portraits tend to look cluttered & take the focus off of baby. My style focuses heavily on the connection of baby and their loved ones, I personally feel this better tells your family's story.
